For groups of more than 10 people, book from May to September and enjoy a guided walk at Moulin du Calanquet. This educational tour takes you to the heart of the olive grove, where you will discover the life cycle of the olive tree, its different varieties, and the methods of cultivation and harvesting. Follow a fun and informative route and learn more about the importance of the olive tree in the Alpilles region.
The tour continues within the mill, where you will explore all the stages of producing our single-variety olive oils. Learn to differentiate terms such as "first cold extraction" or "extra virgin," and discover the process behind creating exceptional olive oils. This immersive experience will help you better understand the ancestral expertise passed down within the Brun family for generations.
At the end of the tour, enjoy a tasting of the various olive oils produced at the mill. Thanks to our three tasting stations, you can also sample our tapenades, jams, and olives, carefully prepared on-site. It’s the perfect opportunity to delight your taste buds and explore the diversity of flavors offered by the olive varieties grown in the Alpilles.
For a total immersion, the mill offers a package including the guided tour and a tasting of the mill's products.
